setting production mode

ibse
Hi
I'am using dandelion 1.1.0 , spring 4 , tomcat 8 , got almost everything up running (assets was a hurdle to understand ;-) )

But i can't get it to change to production mode , i have tried to set dandelion.profile.active=prod , in /dandelion/dandelion.properties and allso in /dandelion/datatables/datatables.properties but no luck , the
dandelion.properties is okay and bundle.includes is working

Thanks in advandced

Hi,

Starting from Dandelion 1.0.0, the development/production modes have been replaced by the notion of profiles. See http://dandelion.github.io/components/core/1.1.1/docs/html/#10-profiles for more details.

In order to activate the prod profile, the only way today is to use the -Ddandelion.profile.active=prod system property.

Could you please elaborate? Writing docs is not an easy task, especially when you work for a loooong time on a topic. If you have any idea/feedback on how Dandelion could be simpler to understand, feel free to share.

Regards,
Thibault.

Hi
Thx for a quick response :-)

Okay i got it , setting it on tomcat startup variables did the trick, but only in my development env, will see if i can get it on the customers server as well

Yes i i certainly would like to elaborate on the docs an dandelion as a whole.
It's a great framework you have made, so would love to give you some feedback, just have to get past my deadline, and i will give you a feedback
